Dan’s Papers features the work of famous French-born artist Thierry Guetta, also known as Mr. Brainwash. His piece, “Tomato Pop” makes the cover page for the magazine after being recently exhibited by DTR Modern Galleries at The National Arts Club.

Avalon Bellos represents DTR Modern Galleries in a conversation about the artist and the gallery’s relationship with his work and his growing presence in the art world.

“Tomato Pop,” the piece above, is a vibrant mixed media work on paper, combining elements of street art and the artist’s signature style, blending graffiti with consumerist imagery and popular culture. His work aims to inspire and uplift the masses as he combines elements of irony and humor to set himself apart in the contemporary art scene.

His art is on view at each of DTR Modern’s gallery locations, as well as special exhibits and installations in major cities across the U.S. and Europe, and characteristically on display at his own museum in Los Angeles. We love working with Mr. Brainwash and his art is a testament to the power of creativity and positivity and his ability to spread that to audiences worldwide.
