His First Solo Exhibition In The U.S., Campbell La Pun Comes to Boston!

Originating from Melbourne, Tokyo, Campbell La Pun's paintings wallow in a mash of popular culture from iconic film characters to retro video games and Japanese anime cartoons to comic text. His pictures taking us on a dizzying trip through the aesthetics of urban stencil art and crazy world of Japanese Kawaii cuteness and Kimochi sensations. He specializes in pop stencil art, designing spray cans of different wines, beers and liquors, to bottles of Veuve Clicquot to the finest Japanese Whiskey. Campbell La Pun is a perfectionist who has mastered his craft, and we are beyond excited to host him in the Boston gallery for his first ever solo show with DTR Modern.

This also happens to be his first solo show in the U.S. and he will be flying in from Japan with his family for the event. So, if you are in the Boston area on Friday, October 6th we would love to see you. The reception will be from 6-8pm at 167 Newbury Street, and we are asking for RSVPs as attendance is expected to be standing room only.
