BECKY ROSA

Becky Rosa, born and raised in London, United Kingdom began her career through her streetwear brand; BRC STREET COUTURE (2013), a luxe label relying solely on her designs. Internationally recognized for her controversial style of manipulating pop culture icons and logos.

 

She is responsible for the creation of designs:

-Chanerries

-HABIBI Dubai

among many other designs, all keeping in similar style and thought. In 2015, Becky created her first sculpture, entitled 'Birkream'. And almost 6ft tall resin and fiberglass Hermes Bag melting on an ice cream cone, into a puddle base. In Fall of 2015, she created 'Vitruvian Man' - a neon and aluminum hybrid between Karl Lagerfeld and the infamous 'Vitruvian Man' by Leonardo Da Vinci. The piece is now housed at ROCKWELL, Miami Beach.

In September of 2015, Becky was awarded the first place regional finalist award from Rush Arts and Bombay Sapphire, winning a place at SCOPE art fair at Art Basel, December, 2015. In December, Becky's 'Birkream series' received the Peoples Choice award at the Bombay Sapphire Nationwide Artisan Series. As result, she created a large-scale mural in Wynwood, Miami in 2016.

Becky continues to extend her oeuvre creating unique designs and expressing them through multiple mediums.
