Kozo, born as Eden Kozokaro in Israel, is an international sensation in the world of tattoo art at age 27. Beginning early at the age of 17, Kozo dove into his love and talent for tattoo art, and later began work at Bang Bang studios in New York. Since then, Kozo has gained nation-wide prestige in the tattoo world with over one million followers on social media and a year long waitlist at his tattoo parlor, as well as having preformed his mark on celebrities like Justin Bieber, Ruby Rose, Katy Perry and Demi Lovato.

He is a self-taught vertuoso who has now spread his skill for tattoo-ing to the modern art world.

Inspired by renowned painters like Rembrandt, Vermeer and Van Gogh, Kozo pays homage to their artistry in his print series of traditional busts among landscapes and settings like Starry Night or the Milk Maid. Kozo appeals to the masses by similarly incorporating modern culture into his prints, with motifs like Alice in Wonderland, Star Wars, Super Woman, etc.

“Through this ever-evolving journey, Kozo has become a trailblazer navigating the currents of contemporary art culture with a steadfast determination that cements his position as a leader in the current artistic zeitgeist” (A, Bellos, p. 17). His work is on view across all of our gallery locations, growing speedily in appreciation and collecting.
