With Made in America, De La Nuez unveils a powerful new body of work that explores the symbols and contradictions of the American Dream. Known for his ability to balance glamour and grit, the artist transforms familiar icons—vintage advertisements, high-end logos, fast food emblems, and starlet silhouettes—into thought-provoking visual statements that ask us to look deeper into what we idolize, consume, and crave. This is not nostalgia for nostalgia’s sake. This is a reframing of American mythology through the lens of wit, irony, and unapologetic glamour.
